This is the first map I made, before the game ever came out. Turns out you need to keep all detail far from the edges. It can be frustrating trying to get the camera to see more of what is out of bounds, but if you would like to experiment with placing houses on hills, give it a look. If you can select a sloped area for a lot, it may automatically level it up.
