I really like the simulated depth of field in this. (the blur that increases the further it is from the camera.)
The original concept was more powdery splashes of color. But in compromising with the contrast I wanted, it ended up looking like damage from an intergalactic paintball war.
Not sure what meaning everyone will associate with this one, but it looks like Australia got the point...
What would your known world look like? Mine would include most of North America, (at least down to Tijuana) but I hope to expand it further. (not just Mexico.)
Not exactly the design I started out to make. However, the puzzle piece took so long, I will have to eventually make the other design to justify the time I spent trying to get the top rounded just right.
I had some interest in licensing an image like this, but can't get the person's email off a dead computer until I get a replacement part. Hopefully they see this.
It looks like a pattern, but is actually is a 3d scene. It started as a logo design, but I am always drawn to symmetrical patterns.
This scene is entirely made from 3d versions of symbols found in graphic fonts like Dingbats or Wingdings.
I really like this one as a background on my desktop. It's easier on the eyes than you might first expect.
